Peace of Mind is Closer Than You Think
Peace of Mind is Closer Than You Think
by Jane Powell on October 8, 2011
“Peace of mind comes when you appreciate what you have, instead of focus on what’s missing.”
As we grow up, we start to obsess that our families, partners, homes, cars and jobs need fixing. It’s true that some tweaking here and there may be in order; but this kind of focus may make you dwell on what is missing in your life. “If only I had . . .” It’s this internal dialogue that makes peace of mind elusive.
Only when you feel thankful for something, can you become more fulfilled and peaceful. Accept what you have and where you are with gratitude. Feel thankful and you will feel more peaceful.
